The present invention is provided with a handrail member, and a plurality of handrail support means for supporting the handrail member. Each of the handrail support members is provided with: a wall-side bracket which comprises a support body disposed with one end facing a sidewall and having a screw insertion hole formed in the outer periphery thereof; a holding means which holds the sidewall bracket on the sidewall removably from within a car room; a handrail-side bracket which is inserted in the wall-side bracket and has a screw hole formed with one end facing the screw insertion hole, and to which the handrail member is affixed; and a fastening member which comprises a head, and a shaft protruding from the head, inserted into the screw insertion hole, and screwed into the screw hole, and fastens and affixes the handrail-side bracket to the wall-side bracket. The screw hole extends at an angle inclined with respect to the sidewall so as to become more distant from the sidewall from one end to the other end, and a predetermined region in the outer peripheral surface of the support body including a portion with which the head is in contact during fastening by the fastening member is configured from a plane orthogonal to the hole direction of the screw hole.
