<p>A guiding catheter assembly is provided with: a guiding catheter that comprises a catheter main body and a protective sheath that covers the outer periphery of the catheter main body and that is movable in the axial direction with respect to the catheter main body; and a dilator that is inserted into the catheter main body. The protective sheath has a thin film section comprising a tube-shaped thin film through which the catheter main body can be inserted, and a housing section that is provided with a lumen through which the catheter main body can be inserted.</p> |
