PURPOSE: An elevator for a ladder truck is provided to minimize a full load of the elevator and to secure a sufficient space without feeling inconveniences when a fire fighter stands in a bottom part with shouldering an air respirator. CONSTITUTION: An elevator for a ladder truck comprises a rear base part(110) which lifts up and down in a longitudinal direction of a ladder; a bottom part(120) in which a back part is connected to the lower part of the rear base part; a pair of front columns(130) in which each lower part is connected to front side right and left corners of the bottom part; a pair of front parapet parts(140) which is lower than the front columns, which is separated from each other from side to side, and which is connected to sides of the front columns; a front door part(150) which opens and closes a gap between front parapet parts and which is locked in the state of closing the gap of the front parapet parts; lateral part handrail bars(160,160') in which each rear end is connected to right and left sides of the rear base part, and in which each front end is connected to the sides of the front columns; and an upper handrail(170) in which the front side part more protrudes from the front than the front parapet parts.
