The machine (1) has two pivotable holders (2) that are arranged in preset manner and a compressed air cylinder (8) that is arranged about a pivot point (D). A free end of each pivotable holder is provided with an attaching holder (3) in which an attaching plate (4) is provided. The attaching holder is attached with a slab (5). The shut-off valves (9,10) are provided to control the flow of cooling water, so as to cool a heat protection plate (6). Restoring torque (M1) for raising slab to upper position is larger than restoring torque for lowering slab to lower position. An independent claim is included for method for controlling attaching device of oxygen strand cutting machine. |
