Provided is a motion guide device able to limit damage to a lid member due to impact from a ball and able to allow a mobile block to operate on a track member at high speeds. The motion guide device is provided with a track member (1) comprising a ball rolling surface (11); a mobile member body (4) comprising a load ball rolling surface (41) which forms a load ball path (43) between itself and the ball rolling surface, and a ball return path (42); a lid member (5) comprising a direction changing path (69) that connects the load ball path (43) and the ball return path (42) to form an endless circulation path; and a ball (3) arranged in the endless circulation path. The lid member (5) comprises an entry section (8) for the direction changing path (69) that is connected to the direction changing path (69) so as to intersect the load ball path (43) and is provided with a first contact surface (62a) that leads the ball (3) from one side of the ball rolling surface (11) to the other side and a second contact surface (75) to which the ball (3) transfers from the ball rolling surface (11) via the first contact surface (62a). |
