The present invention is a heating cooker provided with: a heating cooker body (1) accommodating a housing unit (2); a heating unit (9) disposed within the heating cooker body (1) for heating the housing unit (2); a lid body (3) disposed on the top of the housing unit (2), attached to the heating cooker body (1) so as to be able to pivot via an attachment hinge (11), and capable of closing so as to cover the housing unit (2); stirring bodies (5, 6) protruding from the lid body (3) side into the housing unit (2) side when the lid body (3) is closed, the stirring bodies being capable of stirring matter to be stirred inside the housing unit (2); and a drive motor (15) for driving the stirring bodies (5, 6). The drive motor (15) inside the lid body (3) is disposed in the vicinity of the attachment hinge (11) so as to be displaced from the central portion of the lid body (3).
