The invention relates to a container-carrying vehicle (1) comprising rolling means (2), a ladder chassis (10) comprising substantially parallel longitudinal side rails (11A, 11B), and means (9) for positioning said container or containers that comprise transverse centring stops (14) and longitudinal stops. It is characterized in that the transverse centring stops (14) are arranged on either side of a longitudinal axis (A) of the chassis (10) on arms (13) mounted so as to protrude with respect to the ladder chassis (10), and in each case comprise a guide (40), the arm (13) being attached to at least one of the side rails (11A, 11B) and additionally being extended in its alignment, between the side rails (11A, 11B), by at least one reinforcing crossmember (50) which joins said side rails. |
