A code-reading card for an automobile, comprising: a display device, a diagnostic chip, and an analog switch array chip electrically connected to the diagnostic chip. The diagnostic chip has integrated a processor chip, a USB interface, a display device driver interface, and a NOR flash chip. The display device is connected to the diagnostic chip via the display device driver interface. The analogue switch array chip is connected to an automobile diagnostic interface via an SAE J1962 diagnostic connector. The diagnostic chip operates a diagnostic procedure, controls, on the basis of the operation result, the analogue switch array chip to implement logic gating with the automobile diagnostic interface, and implements a diagnostic feature via a corresponding diagnostic protocol. The code-reading card for the automobile is of low costs, and allows via the USB interface for firmware version upgrade, for real time update to the latest diagnostic procedure, and for flashing of diagnostic procedures of other automobile models. |
