The present invention relates to a method, a device, and a recording medium for managing a game room for a waiting list, and to a system for providing a game comprising a device for managing the game room for the waiting list, and the device for managing the game room for the waiting list comprises the steps of: (a) managing a plurality of game rooms so that players can participate in a game; (b) searching for the number of people on the waiting list in a waiting room for participating in the game in the game room; and (c) generating a waiting list game room for the people on the waiting list when the number of people on the waiting list reaches a prescribed number for the game, thereby significantly reducing waiting time for users participating in the game by generating the game room (waiting list game room) for the users on the waiting list for participating in the game room, which allows a plurality of users to participate in an online game.
