A fuel cell system (10) comprises a fuel accommodating part (30) for accommodating a hydrogen storing alloy, and fuel cell modules (20) disposed on both sides of the fuel accommodating part (30). An air blower (40) is provided below the fuel cell modules (20). The air blower (40) is a member for blowing air across cathode-side main surfaces of the fuel cell modules (20). The fuel cell modules (20) are inclined relative to the air-blowing direction in air-blowing ports (116) so as to receive the air blown through the air-blowing ports (116).
