A second machine speed limiting algorithm (116, 140) is executed in a second controller (104, 106) of the second electronically controlled powertrain (64) to determine a second engine control command (119, 146) based on the machine speed limit (112), and the second engine (82) is controlled using the second engine control command (119, 146).
