Provided is a lubricant for ceramic extrusion molding, which provides excellent lubricity and surface smoothness during the molding of a ceramic extrusion molded body. The present invention is a lubricant for ceramic extrusion molding (D), which contains a polyether (A). The polyether (A) is composed of one or more substances selected from the group consisting of polyethers (A1), each of which is obtained by adding an alkylene oxide to a compound having an active hydrogen atom, alkyl ethers (A2) of the polyethers (A1) and alkyl esters (A3) of the polyethers (A1). The polyether (A) contains a component (a1) having a weight average molecular weight (Mw) of 300 or more but less than 10,000, and a component (a2) having an Mw of from 10,000 to 100,000. The component (a1) is contained in an amount of 40-95% by weight based on the total weight of the components (a1) and (a2), and the component (a2) is contained in an amount of 5-60% by weight.
