<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television receiver and an electronic device having a support member with a more convenient configuration. <P>SOLUTION: A television receiver comprises a housing and a support member. A display device having a display screen is housed in the housing. The support member has a first wall part, a second wall part and a third wall part. The first wall part extends along a mounting surface in a posture along the mounting surface when mounted on the mounting surface. The second wall part has: a first portion which projects in a direction intersecting the mounting surface at an end in the short-side direction of the first wall part, while extending along the first wall part; and a second portion which extends along a direction intersecting the mounting surface. The third wall part projects, at an end in the short-side direction of the second portion, toward the side opposite to the first wall part in a direction intersecting the second portion.
