<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly perform management of a battery state, in a stage before incorporating, into a vehicle or the like, a battery monitoring system using wireless signals between a battery monitoring device and a host controller to send/receive information. <P>SOLUTION: A battery monitoring device BM1 performs verification for determining whether or not a battery state management device 40 is a legitimate communication partner. If the battery state management device 40 is determined as the legitimate communication partner, the battery monitoring device BM1 wirelessly transmits a monitoring result of a connected cell group in a battery module 9 to the battery state management device 40. The battery state management device 40, on the basis of the monitoring result transmitted wirelessly from the battery monitoring device BM1 determines presence/absence of abnormality in the battery monitoring device BM1, or transmits a discharge request command to the battery monitoring device BM1 when balancing is required, and thus manages the state of the battery module 9 in a packed battery AB1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
