<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diagonal fan or an axial flow fan which improves air blowing performance while reducing overall noise as well as rotational noise Nz noise, and to provide an air-conditioner mounted with an outdoor unit having the fan. <P>SOLUTION: Regarding the diagonal fan or the axial fan, a chord length 2-OUT-CO of the outer circumferential side of a main blade 2 shall be longer than a chord length 2-IN-CO of the inner circumferential side, which means 2-OUT-CO>2-IN-CO. Similarly, a chord length 3-OUT-CO of the outer circumferential side of an auxiliary blade 3 shall be longer than a chord length 3-IN-CO of the inner circumferential side of the auxiliary blade 3, which means 3-OUT-CO>3-IN-CO.
