<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vegetable harvester capable of preventing breakage of a drive shaft to improve durability of a sorting and conveying device even if contaminants, such as stones, are caught in the sorting and conveying device to be overloaded. <P>SOLUTION: A root vegetable harvester includes: a pull-out conveying device (4) for pulling out crops from an agricultural field; and a sorting and conveying device (6) for expanding and conveying the harvested crops received from the pull-out conveying device (4) using a conveying endless member (11). The conveying endless member (11) of the sorting and conveying device (6) supports a pair of circulating support bodies (12 and 13) in a freely circulating manner, and has a drive shaft (12a) for driving one circulating support body (12) and a transmission mechanism for overload handling is provided between the drive shaft (12a) and the circulating support body (12) to suppress transmission force within a predetermined range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
