[Also in Division B6] A double support roller web reeling device has a protective arrangement which hinders undesired outward movement of the paper reel from the support roll bed which comprises a frame formed by tubes 3, 4, 5 and webs 6 and 7 pivoted by levers 1 and 2 to the two side frames 10 of the machine. Limit switches 16 and 18 limit the upper and lower positions of the frame by closing a valve (not illustrated) which controls a pressure cylinder 13. Feeler members 19 are arranged at the lower end of the frame, which on encountering an obstacle operate a limit switch 20 which closes the valve, thus stopping the working stroke of the pressure cylinder. The fluid supplied to the cylinder 13 is so arranged that the frame cannot be moved up from the operating position above a definite rotary speed of the winding reel. |
