<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflective substrate for a light-emitting element, exhibiting higher heat resistance, excellent light resistance and a high optical reflectance. <P>SOLUTION: The reflective substrate is provided with an inorganic reflective layer that covers a valve metal base at least partially, wherein the inorganic reflective layer has a Vickers hardness (Hv) of 1 GPa or more and an absorbance difference between at a wavenumber of 3,000 cm<SP POS="POST">-1</SP>and at a wavenumber of 1,900 cm<SP POS="POST">-1</SP>of 0.40 or more as determined by infrared spectroscopy, the absorbance difference being correspondent to an absorption coefficient assignable to OH surface structure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
