<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting a test substance such as a biomolecule through the detection of dye-sensitized photocurrent, in which the photocurrent is detected using an electrolyte solution which does not essentially require an organic solvent, and to improve the utility thereof and provide less varied measurement values by using the electrolyte solution as an organic solvent-free aqueous system. <P>SOLUTION: The method for detecting a test substance such as a biomolecule through the detection of dye-sensitized photocurrent includes that: a process from a step for reacting the test substance to the detection of the photocurrent is conducted in a single device; and a step for detecting the photocurrent is conducted using an electrolyte solution that does not essentially require an aprotic solvent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
