<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for managing a treatment liquid for forming a protective film, with which the elution of nickel is prevented even when contact with a liquid such as tap water occurs, in a valve for an aqueduct, a valve for feeding water/hot water, a fitting, a strainer, a faucet, pump equipment, a water meter, a water purifier, a water/hot water feeder or other liquid contact equipment, made of a copper alloy such as bronze or brass and subjected to plating treatment including nickel. <P>SOLUTION: In a protective film forming process with an alkaline treatment liquid into which water of a washing process for cleaning a treatment liquid, used in a process for removing lead or/and nickel, mixes, the concentration of a component forming the protective film in the protective film forming process is managed by using a densitometer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
