A resin housing for a fluid bearing device in which since the lowering with the passage of time in a press-fitting force for press-fitting the housing to the other member may be suppressed, high bearing performance can be maintained over a long period. The housing formed of a resin composition having a compressive creep amount of 8% or less when a surface pressure of 80 MPa is loaded thereon at an atmospheric temperature of 80°C for 168 hours is fixed, with a sufficient fixing force, to the other member fixed with a press-fit force such as a bearing sleeve press-fitted to the inner periphery of the housing even after it is used for a period equal to the life of a product. As a result, the high bearing performance can be maintained over the long period since the fixed position of the housing to the other member is not displaced.
