<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental sensor holder useful especially for digital dental X-ray sensors of various sizes and shapes. <P>SOLUTION: The dental X-ray sensor holder includes at least two clamping faces wherein at least one of the clamping faces includes at least one and preferably a plurality of resiliently deformable gripping protrusions.
