<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the transmission efficiency when the recovery energy from pressurized seawater is transmitted to a hydraulic pump. <P>SOLUTION: A seawater desalination apparatus 100 that removes salinity from seawater and takes out fresh water, includes: a hydraulic pump 1 that sucks and discharges seawater; a reverse osmosis membrane 5 that removes salinity for desalination when a portion of seawater sucked from the hydraulic pump 1 passes; a double-shaft-type drive motor 10 that has a drive shaft 11 whose both ends project, wherein the rotary shaft 1a of the hydraulic pump 1 is coupled with one end 11a of the drive shaft 11 and the hydraulic pump 1 is made to rotatively driven; and a hydraulic motor 2 that is rotatively driven by seawater refluxed without passing the reverse osmosis membrane 5, wherein a rotary shaft 2a is coupled with the other end 11b of the drive shaft 11, and the rotation of the hydraulic pump 1 is assisted through the drive shaft 10a of the drive motor 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
