<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain power saving and downsizing by arranging a side face outer case 2 and a bottom outer case 3 around a coil member 1 and improving magnetic circuit efficiency in an electromagnetic coil. <P>SOLUTION: A side face outer case (magnetic path member) 2 is formed with side plate parts 21, 21 and a coupling part 22. A bottom outer case 3 is formed with bottom plate parts 31, 31 and a coupling part 32. The side face outer case 2 is fitted to a coil member 1 so as to cover a side face 1b, while both end faces 1a, 1a of the coil member 1 are exposed, thus forming an intermediate assembly A (Figure 3). The bottom outer case 3 is fitted to the intermediate assembly A so as to cover both end faces 1a, 1a of the coil member 1 and both end faces 2a, 2a of the side face outer case 2. A bottom plate part 31 of the bottom outer case 3 is brought into contact with the end face 2a of the side face outer case 2. A magnetic path member may be molded integrally with a resin part 12 of the coil member.
