<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio system and radio device for easily performing security setting without inputting a pass phrase when adding a new apparatus to a radio network. <P>SOLUTION: A radio connection method comprises: a steps of starting a household electric appliance such as a television as a master apparatus, and displaying an authentication pass phrase in the form of a bar code; a step in which a radio LAN slave apparatus having an imaging function images the code, and connects with the household electric appliance by reading out the authentication pass phrase; a step in which the household electric appliance acquires a SSID and authentication pass phrase information on another master appliance with which the slave apparatus has connected before, and displays them as a master appliance list; and a step in which the household electric appliance changes its mode to a slave mode and connects with the other master appliance designated from the list by using the acquired information, to configure a network including the designated master apparatus, the slave apparatus, and the household electric appliance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
