PURPOSE: An optical semiconductor based illuminating apparatus is provided to improve heat dissipating performance by heat pipe structure and arrangement matched with an array of semiconductor optical elements. CONSTITUTION: An optical semiconductor based illuminating apparatus includes a heat dissipating base(12) having a PCB(Printed Circuit Board) in a front surface, multiple semiconductor optical elements mounted on the PCB, and a heat pipe(42) contacting to a rear side of the heat dissipating base. The heat pipe includes a part corresponding to a part of an array shape of the semiconductor optical elements. |
