PURPOSE: A tension weight for a belt conveyor is provided to relieve impact and to reduce the noise of collision because a stopper holding part reaches a rubber buffer part. CONSTITUTION: A tension weight(1) for a belt conveyor(100) comprises pulley parts(10), a weight part(20), and an anti-falling part(30). The pulley parts support a belt(80). The weight part is arranged between pulley parts and maintains the tension of the belt. The anti-falling part prevents the falling of the weight part. The weight part comprises an upper plate(21), side plates(22), a pressing roller(23), a weight(24), and a connection pipe. The upper plate is arranged above the belt and crosses the belt. The side plates are coupled to both ends of the upper plate and are protruded downward.
