<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an S/N ratio, without enlarging a sensor for an automatic door. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of projectors 14a-14d project light circularly to a monitoring area near the door, and lenses deflect projected light to a door opening width direction or to a direction orthogonal to the door opening width direction. The light projected to the monitoring area is received by photodetectors 22a1-22a9, 22b1-22b9. Multi-split lenses are provided so that the light projected to the monitoring area is condensed into the photodetectors 22a1-22a9, 22b1-22b9. A control part 30 determines existence of a human or an object in the monitoring area from each light-receiving state of the photodetectors 22a1-22a9, 22b1-22b9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
