Pthalimidopercaproic acid sugar suspension

An aqueous liquid or gel phthalimidopercaproic (PAP) acid suspension comprises PAP dispersed in an aqueous sugar compound. Preferably PAP comprises 5-45% weight of the composition. The sugar is preferably sorbitol and preferably comprises 40-70% weight. The suspension may also contain a thickener e.g. xanthan gum. Also disclosed is a method for making the composition and its formulation for dishwashing.
