PURPOSE: A cooling device of a rolling mill is provided to cool a material rapidly by using liquid nitrogen and to cool efficiently by coping with irregular temperature variation of a steel plate. CONSTITUTION: A cooling device of a rolling mill(200) comprises a nozzle unit(300), opening-and-closing units(500), and a control unit(600). The nozzle unit is installed perpendicularly on the outlet side of the rolling mill(200) rolling a steel plate(10) on a roller table(100). The opening-and-closing units are installed beneath the nozzle unit, thereby opening/closing injection holes. The control unit controls the operation of the opening-and-closing units by selectively opening and closing the injection holes depending on the temperature of the steel plate.
