The assembly (100) has an electrical conductor (102) having an electrically insulating sheath (108) and a stripped end (106). A cover (112) includes an end (122) fitted to a shoe (110) of an electrically insulating guard (104), and another end (118) fitted to the stripped end and having an opening (120). The cover is slidably mounted with respect to the shoe between a safety position in which the stripped end does not come out from the opening and a position in which the stripped end exits from the opening. A spring (114) is arranged to constrain the cover in the safety position.
