PURPOSE: A location information transmission device and a method thereof are provided to transmit push data including location information to a message of a sender regardless of kinds of terminals, kinds of OS(Operating System), and an installation state of an application. CONSTITUTION: A push data transmission and reception unit(110) receives push data including location information and the message of a sender from a sender terminal. The push data transmission and reception unit transmits the received push data to a corresponding receiver terminal. A reception confirmation unit(120) receives a response signal for the reception of the push data from the receiver terminal. When the response signal is not normally received, an MMS(Multimedia Message Service) message generation unit(130) generates the message and an MMS message including an URL(Uniform Resource Locator) for the location information. An MMS message transmission unit(140) transmits the generated MMS message to the receiver terminal.
