<p>PURPOSE: A method and a device for processing an outer ring of a wheel bearing are provided to complete processing work by one chucking without a separate reversing device and a chuck. CONSTITUTION: A method for processing an outer ring of a wheel bearing comprises: a step of fixing a bearing outer ring to a chuck of a processing device(S10); a step of forming a protruding flange by processing the external surface of the outer ring(S20); and a step of forming a pilot in a ring shape by processing the internal surface of the outer ring(S30).
