<p>PURPOSE: A thermal forming press and a thermal forming process are provided to minimize the bending deformation of a mold holder member and the entire rotatable elements. CONSTITUTION: A thermal forming press comprises a support base(2), a pair of female molds, a driving member, a support frame(3), a male mold(7), a driving member for the male mold, and a program control member. The driving member for the male mold removes the male mold from the female mold by sequentially engaging the male mold and the female mold when the male mold stops in a molding position.
