PURPOSE: An intra-prediction information encoding method and device are provided to reduce the amount of information of an encoded intra-prediction mode by including modes, which are the same with an intra-prediction mode of a current block, in a first group and determining an intra-prediction mode group indicator and a prediction mode index by using the first group. CONSTITUTION: A video decoding device decodes intra-prediction information from a received bitstream(S110). The video decoding device generates an MPM group by using intra-prediction modes of blocks which are adjacent to a current block and restores an intra-prediction mode of the current block by using the MPM group(S120). The video decoding device determines a size of a prediction block of the current block(S130). When reference pixels of a block corresponding to the size of the prediction block are effective, the video decoding device determines whether or not the reference pixels are filtered(S140,S160). The video decoding device generates the prediction block corresponding to the intra-prediction mode(S180).
