PURPOSE: A handle for a cooking container is provided to reduce malfunction thereof by connecting between a slider and a stopper with a simple structure. CONSTITUTION: A handle for a cooking container comprises a cover(10), a body(20), an operation link, a slider(50), and a stopper. The cover includes a cover hole at a specific position of the front end. The body is connected to the lower part of the cover, and includes an upper penetration hole installed at a specific position where a body head is formed. The operation link is connected to an operation link shaft(24), and includes an operation lever(31) which is withdrawn to the outside of the body through a lower penetration hole. The slider includes a grip head(51) corresponding to the body head at the front end. The slider comprises a slider hole(54) having a predetermined length. The stopper is connected to an elastic member(64) whose lower end(63) is fixed to a specific position in the inner space.
