<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering support device capable of correcting and increasing a guidance torque instruction value for preventing lane departure while suppressing the unnecessary increase correction of the guidance torque instruction value. <P>SOLUTION: A gain setting unit 51 computes a gain G for guidance torque instruction value correction based on a lane departure predicted time TLC computed by a TLC arithmetic unit 41. In an area where the lane departure predicted time TLC is shorter than a predetermined value C, the gain G is set so as to monotonously increase from a lower limit value (=1) to an upper limit value G<SB POS="POST">max</SB>(>1) according to the reduction of the lane departure predicted time TLC.
