A U-shaped LED energy saving lamp comprises a lamp head (1), a drive case (2) is disposed on the lamp head, a drive is disposed in the drive case, and the drive case is made of heat-conductive plastic embedded with metal or made of pure heat-conductive plastic. The drive case is connected to a U-shaped lamp cover (3), the U-shaped lamp cover is provided with a substrate (4) electrically connected to the drive, and an LED assembly (5) is mounted on the substrate.
