<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide spherical toner having excellent cleaning property and achieving performance to be required for the toner for a high-quality image forming device. <P>SOLUTION: The toner is formed of toner mother particles and inorganic fine particles. The toner mother particle has a sea-island structure including: a base part, as a sea part, of the mother particle comprising at least a resin component (resin and/or its precursor), a mold-releasing agent, and a coloring agent; and a protruding part, as an island part, formed of a resin fine particle on the surface of the base part. The resin component includes at least first resin. The resin fine particle is formed of second resin. The first resin and the second resin are non-crystalline resin. The volume average particle diameter of the mother particle is 4.0-7.0 μm. The average circularity of the mother particle is 0.960-0.985. On a frequency graph of circularity, the toner has a peak between the circularity of 0.87-0.93 in addition to a peak close to circularity 1 (perfect circle). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
