<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stabilizing device capable of achieving a high stabilizing effect on an attitude of an image pickup apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The stabilizing device includes: shake detecting means for detecting shake of the apparatus; stabilizing means for correcting an image movement due to the shake: attitude detecting means for detecting the attitude of the optical apparatus; natural frequency storage means for storing natural frequency to which the apparatus resonates for every attitude; and control means for changing a frequency characteristic of the stabilizing means on the basis of the frequency from the storage means. The control means is configured to select a stored frequency according to the attitude of the storage means, according to the output of the attitude detecting means and control it to the frequency characteristic of the stabilizing means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
