A pin terminal (PT) has a synthetic resin cap (30) attached to the tip of a round pin-shaped metal terminal body (10). An attachment hole (21) having a continuous unbroken circumferential wall over the entire circumference is formed at the tip end surface of the terminal body (10), while a press fit portion (35) to be press-fitted into the attachment hole (21) is formed projecting out from the rear surface of the cap (30). A female screw (23) is formed on the circumferential surface of the attachment hole (21) and the crest (24) of the female screw (23) constitutes a wedging protrusion. The tip of the pin terminal (PT) is configured so as to form a smoothly tapered guiding portion (40). |
