Disclosed are a Farrow filter based on a logic circuit and an implementation method thereof. The filter includes: a strobe switch configured to control the operating mode of the Farrow filter according to the configured proportional relationship between an input data sampling rate and an output data sampling rate; an interpolation filtering device configured to perform interpolation filtering on the input data under the control of the strobe switch and during interpolation filtering perform a bit-interception operation on the intermediate data according to a first preset bit width to obtain a first class of pointing data; an extraction filtering device configured to perform extraction filtering on the input data under the control of the strobe switch and during extraction filtering perform a bit-interception operation on the intermediate data according to a second preset bit width to obtain a second class of pointing data. The present invention solves the problem that the hardware architecture of the existing Farrow filter is not flexible enough and does not support configuring a rate online and reduces hardware resource occupation by performing a bit-interception operation on the intermediate data.
