<p>The invention relates to an acoustic chamber (10), including a coaxial loudspeaker (6) which includes at least two coaxial membranes (611, 612, 613) that each reproduce a different frequency band, and filtering means (3) that make it possible to generate a plurality of activation signals (91, 92, 93) from an audio signal source (1, 8), which activation signals are each applied to a means for actuating one of the membranes. The acoustic chamber has an operating range having a variable and controlled directivity, each frequency of which belongs to at least two frequency bands reproduced by the membranes. The acoustic chamber includes the means (7) for obtaining a directivity control signal (13).
