<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method which, with respect to a direct plotting system of directly forming an image on a recording medium, hardly causes landing interference and image contraction, has satisfactory letter reproduction and harly causes a curl of the medium. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming method of forming an image by directly depositing aqueous ink ejected from an inkjet recording apparatus onto the recording medium, the inkjet recording apparatus includes at least: a plotting part which has a line head type inkjet head disposed opposite to a circumferential surface of a plotting drum and deposits the aqueous ink from the inkjet head onto the recording medium while retaining the recording medium on the circumferential surface of the plotting drum and rotatingly conveying the recording medium; and a drying part which is disposed on the downstream side of the plotting part, has a drying means for drying solvent in the aqueous ink deposited on the recording medium retained on the circumferential surface of a drying drum and dries the solvent with the drying means while retaining the recording medium on the circumferential surface and rotatingly conveying the recording medium, wherein private materials are used with respect to the recording medium and the aqueous ink. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
