<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize pressure fluctuations of hydrogen to be received by fuel cells. <P>SOLUTION: A pressure adjusting valve has, arranged within a housing member having an inlet and an outlet, a shiftable pressure-responsive member and a valve stem. The shiftable pressure-responsive member responds to an inflow pressure at the inlet and an outflow pressure at the outlet; and the pressure adjusting valve is fluidly linked to a gas generator; and at least one of the inflow pressure and the outflow pressure is the pressure of the gas generator. The shiftable pressure-responsive member is also exposed to a reference pressure and constitutes part of an inner flow channel between the inlet and the outlet; the dimensions of the valve stem are adjustable relative to the pressure-responsive member to enable the operating pressure of the pressure adjusting valve to be varied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
