<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interchangeable lens with the number of parts reduced. <P>SOLUTION: An interchangeable lens is mounted on a camera body having 12 body-side connection terminals arranged in the vicinity of a body-side mount part of the camera body. The interchangeable lens is provided with: a lens-side mount part having a mount center; a holding part with 11 lens-side connection terminals arranged thereon to be connected with the respective body-side connection terminals except one of the 12 body-side connection terminals; a drive part to drive a driven member; and a communication part to perform data-communication with the camera body. One of the 12 body-side connection terminals not to be connected with the 11 lens-side connection terminals is a grounding terminal corresponding to either one of drive voltage or operation voltage that does not correspond to an eleventh lens-side terminal.
