COLOR FILTER FOR WHITE LIGHT EMITTING DIODE LIGHT SOURCE AND DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter capable of reducing the color shift of a display image even when used in combination with a white LED light source, and a display device including the color filter and a white LED light source.

SOLUTION: There is provided a color filter for a white light emitting diode light source having at least a red pixel, a green pixel and a blue pixel, wherein the color filter has an average transmittance of 80% or more at a wavelength of 420 to 460 nm of the blue pixel and is used for a white light emitting diode light source having a maximum value of a light-emitting spectrum in the wavelength of 430 to 450 nm and variations (σ) in the maximum value wavelengths of 3 or more. There is provided a display device comprising a white light emitting diode light source having a maximum value of a light-emitting spectrum in the wavelength of 430 to 450 nm and variations (σ) in the maximum value wavelengths of 3 or more and the color filter for a white light emitting diode light source.
