<p>Use of (6E,8E,10E,12E,14E,16E,18E,20E,22E,24E,26E)-2,6,10,14,19,23,27,31-octamethyldotriaconta-2,6,8,10,12,14,16,18,20,22,24,26,30-tridecaene (lycopene) for producing cosmetic compositions for promoting keratin synthesis in hair, is claimed. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a hair treatment agent comprising (a) 0.0000005-1 wt.% lycopene, (b) 0.5-5 wt.% anionic surfactant, and (c) 0.5-50 wt.% amphoteric and/or zwitterionic surfactant; and (2) treating hair, comprising applying the above hair treatment agent on the hair, and rinsing the agent after a contact time of 5 seconds to 15 minutes.</p> |
