<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of cooling an internal combustion engine, while suppressing a rise of a temperature of an air intake system caused by radiant heat, related to a heat blocking cover of the internal combustion engine. <P>SOLUTION: A side surface part 2a is formed along a side surface 11a of a cylinder block 11 between the cylinder block 11 of an internal combustion engine body 10 mounted to a vehicle and the air intake systems 16, 18 and 19, and an upper surface part 3a is bridged over between the upper end of the side surface part 2a and the internal combustion engine body 10. Furthermore, an inlet 4 for making a space at the side of the air intake system communicate with an internal space 8 at the side of the internal combustion engine body 10 is formed at the side surface part 2a, and an outlet 5 vertically communicating to the vehicle is formed at the upper surface part 3a. Furthermore, a wind introduction plate 6 extending toward the upper part of the internal space 8 is fixed to the lower end edge 4a of the inlet 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
