<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide coated powder having improved powder dispersibility and function of powder, especially affinity for a lipophilic liquid, and having excellent dispersibility and dispersion stability in subjecting powder for cosmetic to surface treatment, and applicable to powder in cosmetics and other fields. <P>SOLUTION: This surface-treated powder comprises powder usable in cosmetics and a coated layer of a surface treating agent of the following layer A and layer B formed on at least a part of the surface of the particle, wherein the layer A is coated on at least a part of the surface of the particle and further the layer B is coated thereon. The layer A is a coated layer of a surface treating agent containing a compound selected from fatty acids in a solid state at a normal temperature, and the layer B is a coated layer of a surface treating agent containing a compound selected from a one terminal functional group-modified organopolysiloxane, a one terminal functional group-modified alkylsilane and a branched fatty acid in a liquid state at a normal temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
